Boryspil International Airport took the fourteenth place in the list of the largest European airports in terms of the number of passengers. For the first time, it was included in the TOP-15 largest airports in Europe, said Volodymyr Zhmak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Boryspil International Aviation Enterprise. This is reported by the press service of the airport.
"The report, published in June, presents data on passenger traffic. For 4 months of 2021, Boryspil airport rose to 14th place in Europe and for the first time in history entered the TOP-15," Zhmak said.
Zhmak said that 341 largest airports in Europe were included in the report. The Ukrainian Boryspil is ahead of the airports of Vienna, Rome, Lisbon, Athens, Munich, Barcelona, Brussels, Stockholm, Zurich, Milan and Warsaw.
