Boryspil airport: one person transferred to hospital, 50 people consult doctor

In Boryspil airport where the work of terminals was suspended temporarily due to ammonia smell on October 21, one person was hospitalized, another 50 people complained about health problems. The press office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that. 

"One worker of the Sky Up air company was transferred to a hospital. Additionally, about 50 people turned to a doctor with complaints about health problems, the medical examination of whose is being held," reads the message. 

As we reported, Boryspil airport suspended the service in terminals due to the possible diffusion of the harmful substances containing ammonia.

The Department of Radioactive, Chemical and Biological Security of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has made air-sampling for denoting of harmful substances. According to the results, the ammonia was found in the air (without exceeding of the maximum allowable concentration). The work of the airport was resumed as of 8 p.m.
