The outlet reported that after four hours of sorting it out, the law enforcers let most of the tourists pass. However, 17 people, including the guide will be deported back to Israel.
The State Border Guard of Ukraine still has not provided any comments on this matter.
Lately, there have been reports about border guards in Ukraine and Israel refusing to let the passengers from respective countries pass.
Previously, on February 15, 140 Ukrainians had to stay at Ben Gurion airport in Israel for several hours. On the same day, the Ukrainian side held 35 Israeli citizens at Boryspil airport; however, due to the diplomatic interference, the passengers were allowed to pass.
