‘The Investigation Department of the SBU opened the criminal proceeding due to the damage of the bus under the article ‘Terrorist Attack’, Aleksandrov noted.
He added that the complex of the immediate investigative actions takes place and the expert study was set.
As we reported a Polish bus, parked next to a hotel in Sokilnkyky village, Lviv region (western Ukraine) got damaged due to a blast, which occurred late on Saturday, December 9.
Ukraine’s minister for foreign affairs Pavlo Klimkin condemned the act, describing it as a provocation and calling it an attempt to disrupt the upcoming visit of Polish president Andrzej Duda.
The Foreign Ministry of Poland called the incident another anti-Polish act in Ukraine.
