The information center of Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee confirmed to Interfax that the blast of the explosive device took place at Kerch college.
"In Kerch, the blast of the unidentified explosive device took place…preliminary, 10 people died, about 50 people injured," the committee noted.
At the moment, the bomb squad of the FSB explores the site.
"The operational headquarters coordinate the activity of the law enforcement bodies and emergency and rescue services on the establishment of the reason of the explosion and preventions of the possible repetitive explosion, organization of the complex of administrative and regime measures," the message said,
According to the initial version, the explosion took place due to the gas leak; however, it became known that the building of the college was not connected to the gas supply.
