Blast in Syria kills over 100 evacuees

Over 100 people were killed in a blast that hit an evacuation gathering point in Syria. This was reported by Associated Press.

"The Syrian Civil Defense in Aleppo province, also known as the White Helmets, says its volunteers were able to remove at least 100 bodies from the scene of the blast," the message reads.

The explosion occurred near bus column carrying 5,000 evacuees stuck in an area on the edge of Aleppo city on Saturday. Syrian TV claim the blast was caused by a car bomb. 

Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres condemned the terrorist act in the al-Rashidin area on 5 thousand evacuees.
