Blast damages Polish bus in Lviv region, - police

No casualties reported; the explosion damaged the hull and the side window

A Polish bus, parked next to a hotel in Sokilnkyky village, Lviv region (western Ukraine) got damaged due to a blast, which occurred late on Saturday, December 9.

According to MP of Lviv city council Ihor Zinkevych, there are no casualties, as the bus was empty at the time.

The National Police in Lviv region confirmed the fact of explosion; the search of suspects is underway.

Ukraine’s minister for foreign affairs Pavlo Klimkin condemned the act, describing it as a provocation and calling it an attempt to disrupt the upcoming visit of Polish president Andrzej Duda.
