Today we publish a new story in the series of videos about the beauty of the Ukrainian cities – please welcome the ancient capital of Volyn – Lutsk with its most popular and famous sights from Bird's eye-view.

The first mentioning of the city dates back to 1085, when it was a city secured by fortifications and not an ordinary settlement. Lubart’s Castle is one of the most ancient and well-preserved castles.

Lutsk can also boast of a remarkable building decorated with plenty of stone sculptures in different styles – the House of Sculptor Mykola Golovan. Figures of fairytale creatures next to the sculptures of saints from different materials and proportions add to the eclectic view.

Apart from that Lutsk has world’s longest residential house with 3265 m of axial length and 1750 meters in line. It was built in 1969 – 1980, it has 88 staircases, registered under 38 addresses on 2 different streets.
