Eduard Katz, a beneficiary owner of the 112 Ukraine TV channel, held a number of meetings with representatives of major TV channels in the U.S. in order to have collaborative relations and learn their experience to fight for freedom of speech. He described the actions of Ukrainian regulator as unacceptable ones in the modern world.
Eduard Katz has already talked to the heads of the leading TV channels and trade unions, producers of local media, representatives of associations that unite the foreign journalists this week. The necessity to hold these meetings is due to the fact that the situation with freedom of speech in Ukraine is critical now, and the National TV and Radio Broadcasting Council is constantly making pressure and threatening to independent media.
“Americans treat the values of freedom of speech as a holy thing. And I am confident that these values shall be followed in Ukraine as well. I hope that Ukraine’s regulator of TV broadcasting shall realize that their actions are not acceptable in modern globalized society,” Eduard Katz noted.

112 Ukraine covers all the territory of Ukraine and is available in packages of the largest cable providers in Ukraine. The channel is broadcasted via a digital DVB-T2 network and AMOS-2/3 satellite.
Due to international OTT-platforms and online streaming on the 112.ua website the TV channel is also available for viewers from Eastern and Central Europe and even from other continents.
