The international expert group Bellingcat unveiled a new photo, which confirms that the Buk, using which the Boeing 777 was shot down in the summer of 2014, was attributed to the Russian anti-aircraft missile brigade. This is stated in the report of the organization.

So, in the social network experts found a new photo of the Buk 332 air defense system, made by a Russian mechanic, probably in the spring of 2013. Photo confirms that the car was attributed to the Russian 53-rd anti-aircraft missile brigade (military unit 32406). This is the last known photo of Buk" before the redeployment of the air defense system from Russia to Ukraine.

This photo is the last detected image of Buk 332 showing its obscure designation and transport marking before the redeployment in June 2014, when the average digit of its designation was found out.

Bellingcat believe that exactly from this Buka militants shot down Boeing 777, which was carrying out flight MH17 on July 17, 2014. This is evidenced by the unique white numbers, loading and the transport markings on the hull.

"They are in the same place as on the photos and videos of Buk 332, when it was spotted in Russia in June 2014 and in Ukraine in July 2014," the authors of the report stress.
