The Belarusian Foreign Ministry commented on the freezing of relations between the countries by Ukraine, which was previously announced by the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Dmytro Kuleba, Belta reports.

"Belarus did not put the dialogue with Ukraine on the so-called pause - this is not just pressing a button on the player. This is concrete damage to the close multifaceted relations of the two neighboring states. Responsibility for the possible consequences of this step lies entirely with the Ukrainian side, and also, as we see  , on its more senior foreign policy partners,” the press secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Anatoly Glaz said.

He announced the readiness of the Belarusian side to continue cooperation.  At the same time, the representative of the Foreign Ministry repeated the thesis of Alexander Lukashenko on interference.

The eye said that Ukraine "contradicts itself."

“This is painful to state, given that Belarus has never, even in very difficult years for our Ukrainian friends, questioned the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the right of the people to independently choose the ways of their development. We cannot be blamed for the fact that we  in any way participated in inciting instability in Ukraine, went to limit contacts with Ukrainian friends at any level,” Glaz said.
