Belarus to send humanitarian aid to Ukraine in sum of $80, 000

The food products and furniture are on the list of the aid

Belarus will send a humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the form of the food products and furniture. The Ministers Council of Belarus made such decision as its press service reported.

According to the document, Belarusian Emergency Ministry, Industrial Ministry, State Food Industry Concern 'Belgospishchprom', Grodno and Vitebsk regional executive committees were ordered to provide the issuance and executing of the material assets to provide the humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the sum of about $80, 000.

'Canned meat, refined rapeseed oil deodorized, white sugar, dried baking yeast, buckwheat grouts, wheat flour, pasta, furniture sets for the pupils, storage cabinets and fridges', the message said.

The council added that the Belarusian Emergency Ministry is ordered to provide the accompanying and delivery of the humanitarian aid to Ukraine by the road vehicles; to organize the pass of the material assets for the distribution among the suffered population of Ukraine.

According to the UN Coordination Department for Humanitarian Affairs, 4,4 million people, including 3,4 million in need of the aid and protection are influenced by the Donbas Conflict. $187 million is needed for the aid of the citizens. However, the humanitarian UN agencies own only 3% of these funds.

Earlier the EU claimed it provided 700 million of euro of the humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
