The third week of confrontations on the Polish-Belarusian border - migrants from the countries of the Middle East have not yet dispersed and from time to time make attempts to break through to Polish territory. Sometimes there are incidents with the Belarusian military.

What happened before: the situation on the border worsened on November 8, migrants, accompanied by the Belarusian military, began to attempt to storm the border into the European Union. They pitched a camp near the border crossing at Kuznitsa.

After that, a crowd of thousands moved under the Bruzgi-Kuznitsa checkpoint, riots broke out, in which the Polish military suffered. Water cannons and tear gas were used.

Drunken Belarusian military clung to Polish border guards

A video appeared on Twitter of the Polish Ministry of Defense, in which a drunken Belarusian soldier, who can hardly stand, clings to the Polish border guards, and in broken English invites the Poles to exchange cigarettes:

In a commentary under the video, the Polish security forces noted that this is not the first such case; earlier, the Belarusian military fired into the air and aimed their weapons at Polish border guards.

Attempts to break through the border continue

Last night, a group of about 150 aggressive migrants tried to cross the border, said Stanislav Zharyn, spokesman for the Polish secret services' coordinating minister. The attack was controlled by the Belarusian services.

In total, 346 attempts were made to cross the border on Sunday. Against 58 people, a decree was issued on expulsion from the territory of Poland. The rest of the attempts were prevented. 3 people were arrested for complicity.

Meanwhile, new living containers were built on the Polish border for soldiers guarding the border. They said they were ready to stay at the border as long as necessary.

If the situation escalates, Poland is considering the possibility of a complete closure of the border with Belarus.

One hundred migrants were hospitalized

About a hundred migrants were hospitalized in hospitals in Grodno in Belarus with pneumonia due to hypothermia, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the head of the Main Department of Health of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Lyudmila Keda.

The migrants were brought to the medical facility from the Bruzgi logistics center at the border. Including migrants are diagnosed with a severe form of coronavirus. Among the main reasons for hospitalization, Keda singled out pneumonia, diseases of the lungs, gastrointestinal tract, injuries sustained at the border.
