Belarus canceled the ban on entry into the country of Ukrainian writer and poet Serhiy Zhadan. The decision was taken within a few hours. This writer said in comments to the Belarusian Radio Liberty.
"That issue is resolved positively, so it is good evidence that there is no conflict between us. I very much hope that this is not a trend, but just a case," said Zhadan.
In addition, the writer on his Facebook page said: "So what, friends - a crusade is canceled. Common sense and a sense of dignity won everything that was written in Putin's instructions. I'm very pleased to continue to visit Belarus and deepen Ukrainian-Belarusian cultural ties."
Zhadan thanked the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and its head - Pavlo Klimkin, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus, a team of Ukrainian diplomats in Minsk, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry and others.
"See you in May in Minsk at a concert. Glory to Ukraine, Belarus lives!", added Ukrainian poet.
