Bail hearing for Ukrainians detained in Georgia scheduled for December 4

All the six were served with charges – they are accused of illegal purchase and possession of arms

Bail hearing concerning Ukrainians detained in Georgia is scheduled for today, December 4, as Semen Semchenko, a people’s deputy, wrote on Facebook.

“Court hearing is to be held in Tbilisi. Nobody admitted his guilt and everyone said that the weapons were planted,” he passed the information received from the lawyer.

He also specified that all the six were served with charges – they are accused of illegal purchase and possession of arms.

As we reported earlier, seven citizens of Ukraine were arrested in Alliance Hotel in Tbilisi

It is stated that former Georgian serviceman who fought in Ukrainian battalion ‘Donbas’ Luka Chkhetia is among the detainees. His father Sergo Chkhetia told reporters that his son was going to take part in protest action scheduled for December 2 in Tbilisi.
