“The police launched the investigation and proved in the court that an authorized representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the "Crimean Federal District" Oleg Bielavientsev organized military actions by the Russian soldiers in cooperation with military Cossack societies. Those actions violated the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, boundaries of its territory and state border, as well as the violations of the Constitution of Ukraine, during February-March 2014, while being on the territory of Ukraine, namely the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, acting on preliminary agreement by a group of persons with other representatives of the Russian Federation. Those crimes caused severe violations of the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The suspect incited Ukrainian servicemen to commit state treason during this period as well”, - Sargan wrote.

A special extra-judicial pre-trial investigation and a special trial have been conducted in the criminal case against Bielavientsev.
