In Kyiv, it was forbidden to be on the street without protective equipment (mask or respirator). This is stated in the text of the order of the head of emergency response No. 12, which was published on the website of the Kyiv City State Administration.
"From Monday, April 6, in the capital, as in other cities of Ukraine, new restrictions will start to apply, approved by Government Decision No. 211. Also, the city authorities approved a new list of measures aimed at preventing the spread of acute coronavirus disease Covid-19. I understand that most restrictions might seem uncomfortable, but now we are talking about the health and lives of thousands of people of Kyiv," first deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration Mykola Povoroznik stated.
In particular, a person cannot appear without personal protective equipment:
- on the territory of parks, water parks, forest parks, leisure parks, recreation areas, gardens, squares, and playgrounds; squares, boulevards, avenues; streets, alleys, driveways, pedestrian and bicycle paths; underground passages; beaches; cemeteries, other public places;
- in the premises of state authorities and local governments, other state institutions, enterprises, institutions and organizations (in particular trade services) of all forms of ownership, hotels and similar means of accommodation for citizens, hostels, train stations, and airports;
- in transport (including those operating in the regime of regular special transportations), at public transport stops;
- in the local area; territories of buildings and structures for engineering protection of territories; territories of enterprises, institutions, organizations, and territories assigned to them on the terms of an agreement.
As we reported before, the Mykolaiv region remains the only area of Ukraine where not a single case of coronavirus infection Covid-19 is registered.
