Austria has extended the ban for flights from Ukraine until July 15 due to the deterioration of the epidemiological situation. The proper decision was made by the Health Ministry of Austria as Der Standard reported.

Besides, the Austrian government banned the flights from Belarus, China, the UK, Iran, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, and Italian Lombardy.

Besides, the flights to Austria might be renewed if a flight meets the interests of the republic. Particularly, the exclusions can be relevant for Vienne, which is the arena for international talks.

Each particular case will be considered separately.

As we reported, the European Union has reduced the list of countries for which it will open borders on July 1. Now the list does not include Ukraine.

Besides, Ukraine occupied the second place among the countries of Europe, where the greatest daily growth in the number of cases of infection with coronavirus is observed.

As we reported, 706 new cases of coronavirus infection have been diagnosed in Ukraine over the last 24 hours. As of the morning of June 30, the total number of coronavirus infections in Ukraine was 44,334: 1,159 people have died and 19,115 patients have recovered.
