Attacker took hostage employee of financial institution in Ukraine's Odesa

In Odesa, the attacker took an employee of a financial institution hostage. This was reported by the press service of the regional police.

"In one of the financial institutions in Odesa's Suvorovsky district, an unknown person took an employee as a hostage. Negotiations are being held with the offender. Investigative measures are being taken to release the hostage and detain the attacker," the report said.

The "Thunder" special operation was introduced in the city.

Earlier, an unknown took staff and several customers as hostages in Moscow shop, as RIA Federal Press reported referring to Mash.

According to the information, one of the hostages, likely a store staff member, got a knife wound. Besides, the perpetrator demanded a meeting with FSB and $4,776. The responsible services are conducting talks with him.
