Arsonists put Orthodox shrine in Kyiv on fire

The temple sustained serious damage and needs repairs

The unknown perpetrators put on fire the shrine of Transfiguration of Our Lord in Kyiv (Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate). The incident took place in the small hours of March 10.

According to the website of the Kyiv metropolia, the men broke the window, poured the flammable liquid inside the building and ignited it.  

The press service of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate added that the temple sustained serious damage and needs repairs.
