Ukraine's Armed Forces and the Border Guard detachments have conducted a tactical exercise that included a simulated aggression from the sea. The drills involved the use of tank units and other armored vehicles, the press service of Ukraine's State Border Guard reports.
"Crews of the Border Guard's armored cars and tank detachments of Ukraine's Armed Forces that act together within the Joint Forces Operation have improved their skills in the teamwork, while completing the tasks to defend the coastline and to destroy the hostile naval targets and the naval assault groups," the message said.
The drills were held both in the daytime and in the nighttime.
The State Border Guard added that the exercise involved active use of snipers, machinegunners and Humvee armored cars. 'Special attention was paid to tactical medicine, as the troops practiced in administering early medical assistance and evacuating the wounded under attack,' the press office concluded.
