Armenia declares martial law, general mobilization in country

The government of Armenia declared martial law and general mobilization in the country. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"By the decision of the government, martial law and general mobilization are declared in the Republic of Armenia. The decision will take effect from the moment of publication. Personnel assigned to the troops, I urge them to come to the territorial military registration and enlistment offices. For the sake of the motherland, for the sake of victory," the statement says.

As we reported before, the command of the Azerbaijani army decided to launch a counter-offensive operation against the armed forces of Armenia along the entire front in the region of Nagorno-Karabakh.

"The personnel and tank subunits, supported by the units of the rocket and artillery troops, front-line aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles, having discovered a large number of manpower, military objects and military equipment of the Armenian armed forces located in the front line and deep in the enemy's defense, destroy them," the message says.
