The Armenian Foreign Ministry announced its readiness to start negotiations with Azerbaijan on a ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
"Armenia remains committed to a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. We will continue to resolutely oppose this aggression against Karabakh, while at the same time being ready to work with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries in 1994-1995 to restore the ceasefire regime based on the agreements," the statement says.
Armenia also stated that the actions of Azerbaijan, Turkey, the participation of foreign militants undermine regional security, and this significantly increases the risk of a large-scale war.
In addition, as reported by the media, the Armenian military say about the attacks of the Azerbaijani MLRS "Smerch" on the city of Hadrut in the southern direction.
As we reported before, the presidents of Russia, France and the U.S. issued a statement on Nagorno-Karabakh. The heads of the states call for urgent stop of the combat actions.
