Armed men attack five-star hotel in Pakistan

Armed men broke into the five-star Pearl Contnental Hotel, which is located in the city of Gwadar of Balochistan province, Pakistan. It is reported by BBC Ukraine.

It is known about at least three armed men, who started shooting in the hotel. Representatives of local authorities say that most of the guests were evacuated.

The media clarifies that the hotel is popular among foreign tourists and businessmen. The number of people who were in it at the time of the attack is not yet known.

Earlier at least 128 people became victims of a bomb explosion at a campaign rally in Balochistan province, in south-we part of the country, more than 200 were injured, as Dawn news reported, referring to the Internal Minister of the province.

The terrorist group ISIL took responsibility for the explosion.

As the mass media note, Awami Siraj Raisani, one of the candidates in the parliamentary elections, was the main aim of the terrorist attack.

He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but according to Dawn news, he passed away.

It was the second attack at the election rallies in Pakistan over that day.
