In the Kherson region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted tests of medium-range anti-aircraft missiles. This was reported by the press service of the Air Force of Ukraine.
In total, more than forty shots were fired from the Buk-M1, S-300 and Osa anti-aircraft missile systems. In the shooting took part both division of the Ukrainian Air Force, and the ground forces.
"On November 4, on a temporary site near the settlement of Olexandrivka in the Kherson region, the flight tests of anti-aircraft guided medium-range missiles successfully completed ... A total, 23 shots of Buk-M1 and S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems were conducted at 11 unmanned aerial vehicles. In addition, more than 20 launches of missiles were carried out by the units of the Ground Forces from the air defense missile systems Osa, the report said.
"Carrying out flight tests allowed training of combat crews, in order to ensure their further capabilities in the implementation of the tasks of combat duty to protect the airspace of the state," the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Serhiy Drozdov said.
