The criminal who the day before started shooting with the pursuit in capital of Ukraine, did not act alone. Before the shooting he together with his accomplices robbed the store, and only then, threatening with the weapon, hijacked a minibus. This was reported by the head of National police Serhiy Knyazev.
"We understand that the offender was not alone, because the offense has been committed in the store, one man could not commit it. We didn't think about it, there was no information about the theft, we thought it was a street bully," Knyazev said.
Police is searching the perpetrator for a second day. According to law enforcement, he is hiding in the private sector on the Rusanivsky gardens.
On March 2nd, the man opened fire and hijacked a minibus in Kyiv. When the attacker threw the driver out of the bus, the passengers managed to get out of it. This happened on Malyshka street, a sleeping area on the left bank of Kyiv.
Pursuit started right after the accident. The shuttle bus crashed an automobile on the Perova Avenue, one of the busiest roads in the left bank of Kyiv, injuring a driver of the car.
In 2 km a bus crashed the police car, blocking the road. Patrol police officers opened fire and damaged the wheels and the wind glass of the bus.
The criminal had decamped near a railway stop of the electric trains, where he left the broken vehicle.
