Arkadiy Babchenko, the deceased Russian reporter, killed in Kyiv on May 29, had six foster kids and his own daughter. Aleksandr Feldman, the Russian blogger posted this on Facebook on Wednesday.

In the view of his death, the reporter's mother Yulia remains the guardian of the fostered kids.

'A few people actually know that Russian reporter Arkadiy Babchenko had six children, three of which are brothers and sisters to each other... the mother and the children still live in the rented three-room apartment', he wrote.

The blogger posted that Babchenko family took these children from foster homes. All of them are children with special needs.

'They stole stuff, they could not chew food or wash their clothes. They were afraid of coming outside; they ate fruit and vegetables along with the skins. One of them did not talk until she turned seven,' the message said.

Russian reporter Arkadiy Babchenko was shot dead in Kyiv. Ayder Muzhdabayev, the deputy CEO of ATR TV channel, posted this on Facebook. 'They shot Arkadiy in his back, at his own place', he wrote.

The critically wounded man passed away in the ambulance.

According to the police, the message came in from Babchenko's wife who found him lying on the floor with several gunshot wounds to his back. The Ukrainian law enforcers assume there's Russian trail in the murder.
