Apple plans to update its voice assistant Siri so it understands and responds in Ukrainian. On its website, the company posted a vacancy for an annotation analyst with knowledge of the Ukrainian language for the voice assistant team.

It is noted that the analyst's responsibilities will include listening to and decrypting audio files and evaluating Siri's responses. The company is looking for candidates who are fluent in the Ukrainian language. It is also noted that the vacancy involves working at the headquarters of the Irish city of Cork.

Among the main requirements for the candidate is fluency in English and Ukrainian with excellent grammar and proofreading. The candidate must understand the verbal nuances of the Ukrainian dialect, including the differences in the dialect of different Ukrainian provinces and territories.

As we reported earlier, Netflix will provide Ukrainian dubbing of movies and TV series for its customers.

Two Ukrainian studios - Postmodern Postproduction and Tak Treba Production - have become official partners of the streaming service. 

They will be able to engage in the dubbing of Netflix projects.
