An-132D, the cargo aircraft designed and manufactured by Ukraine’s Antonov construction bureau went for a demo flight at Le Bourget Air Show 2017.
Antonov company posted the video of the aircraft hovering over Paris at Facebook.
An-132D’s key feature is the opportunity to use it in any sort of climate conditions; it can employ high-altitude and unconditioned air strips.
The only prototype of An-132D was rolled out in Kyiv in December 2016, followed by the first flight in March 2017.
According to Ukroboronprom, Ukraine’s leading defense enterprise, deliveries are scheduled from 2018, with an estimated price of $30 million per aircraft and a planned production total of 260–295 aircraft by 2035 from Ukrainian and Saudi production lines.
