Another shooting in Iran: Khomeini mausoleum attacked

Another shooting occurred in Tehran, Iran’s capital today. Attackers used firearms this time in mausoleum of Imam Khomeini. According to the information so far, as a result of the attack, one person was killed, five were injured. This was reported by the Tasnim news agency in Twitter.

“Another shooting reported at mausoleum of Imam Khomeini in southern Tehran, some injured so far,” the message of the agency says.

According to Mehr agency, the attack was carried out by three armed men. Two of them were detained, the third activated the explosive belt and blew himself up.

It is noteworthy that the Khomeini mausoleum is a memorial complex dedicated to the leader of the Islamic Revolution and the first highest leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khomeini. The mausoleum is located in the south of Tehran.

Earlier it was reported that there was an attack on Iran’s Parliament in which seven people died. Four people are held hostage in the building at the moment.
