Zakhar Vinogradov, the Russian journalist that made for Kyiv was taken off the train. The Security Service of Ukraine banned him from entry to Ukraine for five years as RIA News reported.

According to Vinogradov, he was taken off the train Moscow-Odesa in Konotop at 6 am during the document check.

‘The reason for the decision of the SBU is unknown. The train back will come in 18 hours and I will stay in Konotop until this. The documents are under preparation’, Vinogradov reported.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) confirmed the information on the ban from the entry for Vinogradov.

‘The journalist is banned from entry for five years. The SBU consistently works to prevent the entry of people who hold anti-Ukrainian activity’, Olena Hitlianska, the spokesperson of the SBU claimed as LIGA.net reported.

Zakhar Vinogradov is a native of Odesa. He managed the representative office of ‘RIA News’ in Kyiv from 2006 until 2011 and later he began to work at ‘RIA News’ in Moscow.

The SBU expelled Viacheslav Nemyshev, the Russian NTV channel reporter in October. Earlier Anna Kurbatova, the journalist from Russian Channel One was deported from Ukraine with a three-year ban from entering the country.
