Web designers in Kyiv created Map Me Happy, an interactive map where citizens can mark places that trigger their positive associations and nice memories, Khmarochos outlet reported. The initiative is supposed to set the dialogue between the local authorities and the capital’s residents and to provide information about functional capability of urban spaces. The map’s creators say it allows showing the city’s places of interest that still remain unknown to many people.
A user should sign in before proceeding and putting a mark on the map. After that, the user will need to choose what kind of positive feelings particular place evokes and add a short description with a photograph.
