Experts decoded the black boxes from the An-26 aircraft. They found that during the flight, one of the engine control units failed, as a result of which the pressure drop sensor was triggered, as Vice Prime Minister Oleh Urusky reported.
The experts also revealed gross violations in the performance of flight missions and in the organization of flights in general.
“Today it can be stated that the tragic sixth flight of the An-26Sh aircraft has been fully restored based on the results of decoding the flight recorders, and the content of negotiations has been established both between the crew members and with the flight management,” Urusky wrote.
The Defense Ministry plans to complete its own internal investigation on October 12, after which all materials will be transferred to military commissariats.
The process of paying compensation to the families of the victims will begin after October 15.
As we reported before, on Tuesday, October 6, a farewell ceremony for those killed in the An-26 plane crash near Chuhuiv was held in Kharkiv.
