More than 8,8 thousand Crimean residents received passports of citizens of Ukraine after the Russian annexation of the peninsula. This was stated by deputy head of the department of registration and immigration of the State Migration Service of Ukraine Galina Subbotenko, reported "Krym.Realii".
"During this time, 354 passports were issued in the form of cards. The majority of our citizens' obtain passports in the form of little books. During this period, has been issued, given out and exchanged 8.5 thousands passports of citizen of Ukraine in the form of little book", - she noted.
According to Subbotenko, Crimeans consider the best pasports in the form of the usual little books because with them it is easier to cross administrative border between mainland of Ukraine and annexed Crimea.
Also, according to her figures, for the period of the annexation of Crimean peninsula its residents received about 80.5 thousand administrative services in the department.
