The level of support for the introduction of a total lockdown has increased from 36 to 42%. At the same time, the number of respondents, who believe that the spread of coronavirus due to lockdown will decrease, has increased (from 55 to 58%). Besides that, 58% support the introduction of lockdown during the New Year holidays (40% vote against it). This was reported by the Sociological Group Rating.
75% of respondents support the fines for being in public places and transport without protective masks, 25%, in turn, vote against.
"Over the past two weeks, the attitude of Ukrainians to the introduction of fines for staying in public places and transport without masks has not changed. 60% support the introduction of fines for institutions that do not adhere to the weekend quarantine, 37% do not support this decision," the statement said.
As we reported earlier, Ukrainian Health Ministry does not intend to extend the weekend quarantine.
"We have an incubation period of 14 to 21 days. In the middle of this week, we will be able to give preliminary results of the weekend quarantine. But let me remind you that the first weekend passed when we practically did not observe the weekend quarantine," Health Minister Maksym Stepanov stated.
