The occupancy of beds in Kyiv medical institutions is almost 57%. This was stated by Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko during a briefing.
"The occupancy of beds in Kyiv hospitals makes almost 57%," Klitschko said.
The mayor also added that in total, 2,222 patients with coronavirus are being treated in city's medical institutions, of which 35 are children.
In addition, 926 patients are in serious condition, and 1335 people receive oxygen support.
As we reported earlier, in Kyiv, 1,460 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered during the past 24 hours.
The majority of the cases were observed in Dniprovsky (256), Podilsky (230) and Desnyansky (180) districts.
As of today, there are 70,478 confirmed cases of Covid-19. 13 people died in 24 hours. Totally, the coronavirus claimed the lives of 1,292 Kyiv citizens.
88 people recovered in 24 hours; while 22,843 people overcame the virus in general.
Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said that the situation with Covid-19 in Ukraine remained tense due to the overall number of infected people.
Besides, leader of the parliamentary faction of the Servant of the People party David Arakhamia stated that the chances of introducing the lockdown in Ukraine currently make about 90 percent.
