2,611 people, including 847 adults and 1.764 children became ill this week and it is more by 9.5% than the last week.
Thus, the highest rates of the incidence are in Lviv region: 10,232 people (2,871 adults and 7,361 children), Ivano-Frankivsk region: 4,828 people (1,293 adults and 3,535 children), Zakarpattia region: 4,289 people (882 adults and 3,407 children), and Ternopil region: 3,060 people (1,026 adults and 2,034 children). 2,780 ill people were registered in Kyiv; 1,667 of them are adults and 1,113 are children.
15 people, including four adults and eleven children, died from the complications of the disease.
As of November 1, the number of children, who got the first dose of the vaccine again measles, mumps and rubella, is 76.1%; the number of those who got two doses of this vaccine made 77.5%.
Earlier, we reported that a three-year-old boy died from measles at Odesa City Infectious Diseases Hospital.
He became the third child in Odesa who died from this disease in 2018. In total, four residents of Odesa died from measles.
