All hospitals with oxygen stations located in Zaporizhya will be checked. This is the necessary security measure, a response to the fire that took place in Zaporizhya's regional infection hospital. Maksym Stepanov, the Healthcare Minister of Ukraine reported that as quoted by Ukrinform news agency.

"I examined the site. The investigation authorities are working to find the reason for the tragedy. It was practically an explosion, the fire spreaded fast. There were almost no chances to save these people. For now, the main thing is to finds the reason and make respectrive conclusions about how to prevent such tragedies in the future", Stepanov said.

The fire that took place in the small hours of February 4 at Zaporizhya regional infectional hospital occurred because of the ignition of medical equipment. Volodymyr Shynkarenko, the Chief Medical Officer reported that as quoted by local outlet 061.

"Ambulance crews and the hospital staff evacuated the patients, which stayed in the intensive care. Seven people were taken to other medical establishments of the city. Besides, two workers of the hospital suffered from burns and were hospitalized. The doctor of hospital ER showed courage and heroism, thanks to his actions people survived. Preliminary reasons for the fire will be sorted out by the investigation team, but we confirm that the ignition of medical equipment took place", Shynkarenko said.
