On November 10, all seven entry-exit checkpoints in Donbas will resume working. This is mentioned in the statement by the Joint Forces Operation.
"Starting from 8 a.m. November 10, the passage of individuals and vehicles across the division line will be resumed - in accordance with the decision of Joint Forces commander", reads the message.
The decision concerns all seven checkpoints: Hnutove, Novotroitske, Mariinka and Mayorske (Donetsk region), Stanytsia Luhanska, Schastya, and Zolote (Luhansk region).
The checkpoint procedures will be performed daily from 8 a.m. till 6 p.m. The citizens will be obliged to wear masks and keep a social distance. Besides, they must agree on self-isolation (via Diy Vdoma applet) or observation.
According to the official, the Ukrainian Parliament was ready to develop the special law on the elections in Donbas. But these could only take place after the Ukrainian government restores control over the occupied areas and the section of the border, which are currently held by Russian militants.
Kravchuk added that in the current circumstances, such a local election would be impossible.
