A security officer of the German Embassy died in a blast in Kabul, several other embassy employees are wounded. Germany’s Foreign Ministry reported that on their official web-site

"There are casualties among the employees of the German Embassy at the assault in Kabul. All the rest are safe now. Afghan security officer, standing in front of the embassy, died, Sigmar Gabriel, the Foreign Minister reported.

As we reported earlier, a massive explosion rocked a highly secure diplomatic area of Kabul near the Afghan presidential palace early on Wednesday morning, killing 80 people and wounding as many as 350, sending a huge plume of smoke over the Afghan capital.
