Additional quarantine restrictions are planned to be introduced in Kharkiv region. This was reported by 057.ua, citing Deputy Mayor Svitlana Horbunova-Ruban.

"We are planning additional restrictions in Kharkiv. The decision will be made at the next meeting of the local Commission for Emergency Situations. First of all, this will concern transport," the vice mayor said.

In addition, she noted that it is planned to limit the number of passengers in transport.

She also noted that for safety in the metro, it will be necessary to increase the number of trains and reduce the intervals between them.

Since October 10, Kharkiv region has been in the "orange" zone.

Meanwhile, on October 21, 269,666 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 in Ukraine.

184,107 people received the first dose, 85,559 people were fully immunized.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 8,557,659 people have been vaccinated, of which 8,557,657 have received one dose, 6,829,174 people have been fully immunized and received two doses (two of them received one dose abroad).

A total of 15,386,831 vaccinations were performed.
