Activity of 277,000 enterprises forbidden during lockdown in Ukraine

During the quarantine period, the activity of 277,000 enterprises in various industries was forbidden in Ukraine. Most of restrictions concern the work of markets, as the Openendbot reports.

Thus, among the closed enterprises there are more than 211,000 markets (76.24% of all enterprises), about 15,000 institutions of planned medicine and dentistry (5.32%), almost 14,000 educational institutions (5.00%), over 10,000 entertainment establishments (3.76%).

Also, 8,000 institutions were closed in the sectors of tourism (3.02%), individual services (2.98%) and sports (3.04%). More than 1,700 enterprises working in transport services (0.65%) were closed all over Ukraine.

As we reported before, the Cabinet of Ministers has published a plan for lifting the lockdown in Ukraine, which the government previously extended until May 11.

The Premier noted that the starting point for the implementation of this plan may be observed on May 11, subject to a favorable epidemic situation in the country.
