Activist Tatyana Lampika applied to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky asking to stop the mass cutting down of the trees in Dnipro city and around the whole Ukraine, as Obozrevatel reported.
Head of the public organization Ecological patrol of Dnipropetrovsk region and a public representative at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine Tatyana Lampika published the video apply on Facebook.
Lampika pointed out that mass cutting down the trees and the violations of the state sanitarian and ethical norms take place in Dnipro city; the authority implements the budget this way.
Thus, the public of the regional center asked the Head of the State to intervene in the situation and help stop the massive cutting down the trees not only in the city of Dnipro but also throughout the territory of Ukraine.
It should be noted that the activists registered the petition on the special website, the goal of which is to stop the unjustified cutting down the trees during the construction of the Korolenko Street in Dnipro city. It is needed 1000 signatures in order the petition could be considered. Nevertheless, 771 people have already signed the petition for five days (it was registered on June 5).
