In connection with the International Day of Human Rights in the Turkish Istanbul took place a protest against human rights abuses in Crimea and the Russian occupation regime, the protesters were joined by about 500 concerned citizens, reports Qha.
The protesters were joined by about 500 interested citizens, as well as members and representatives of the branches of Society of Culture and Mutual Assistance of Crimean Tatars from different cities of the Republic.
Protest march with placards "Watan, Millet, Kyrym," "Yesterday Stalin, and now Putin," "Return the abducted", as well as the Crimean Tatar flags marched to the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Istanbul.
Earlier, human rights activists reported an increase in the number of political prisoners in Russia twice. They note that if a year ago the list of political prisoners consisted of 50 people, now in total 02 people are mentioned in both lists.
