About 50 people came to the Volodymyrsky Cathedral in Kyiv to say the last farewell to killed former State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov. This was reported by the 112 Ukraine correspondent.

"About 50 people came to cathedral to say the last farewell to Voronenkov. In particular, his wife Maria Maksakova is present, as well as the former deputy of the Russian State Duma, Ilya Ponomarev, with whom Denis Voronenkov intended to meet before he was  killed, "the correspondent said.

Earlier we reported that ex-State Duma MP Denis Voronenkov was shot in Kyiv downtown on March 23. He was attacked by 28-year-old citizen of Ukraine, who, according to Internal Ministry, was scouted by Russian special services. Kremlin has rejected the "Russia’s involvement" in the case and called it absurd. World’s mass media labeled Voronenkov as harsh critic of Putin and reminded him comparing Russia to Nazi Germany.
