The IDPs, who were evacuated from ATO area at the beginning of the year now are leaving their temporary residence centers in Nowy Sącz, Warsaw, Poznan, Szczecin, Wałbrzych, and Gdansk (Poland), R. While living in Poland, Ukrainians attended Polish language courses and professional trainings too.
Minister of the Interior Incumbent Teresa Piotrowska thanked all the IDPs, who were evacuated to Poland, says Polradio. "This project required close cooperation between many people and agencies. This assistance would be impossible without the participation of private companies, NGOs and local administrations. I’d like to express my gratitude to everyone who supported our guests,” said the Minister. Mrs.Teresa Piotrowska recalled that "the difficult path of IDPs began in January". "You have left your homes, your friends, your native places. I hope you liked Poland as a safe and welcoming home, your new place in the world,” she added.
