In 24 hours, 9,850 new coronavirus cases were registered in Ukraine

Kyiv doctors detected 943 new cases of Covid-19 over the day, as Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported.

The number of newly infected includes 526 women (18-95 years old), 371 men (18-95), 24 girls (2-17), and 22 boys (1-17). 27 medics are among those who got infected over the last 24 hours.

97 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.

15 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took lives of 867 Kyiv citizens. In 24 hours, 117 people recovered; while 16,497 citizens of Kyiv have overcome the disease since the pandemic began.

Most of the new cases were observed in Desnyansky (128) and Dniprovsky (111) districts.

As we reported earlier, over the last 24 hours, 9,850 new cases of coronavirus infection have been observed in Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 460,331 people have been diagnosed with the disease: 206,866 people have managed to recover, 8,450 have succumbed to the disease (+138).

Over the past day, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kharkiv region- 1,074 cases, Kyiv - 943 cases; Zhytomyr region - 543 cases; Zaporizhia region - 688 cases; Kyiv region - 546 cases.
