During the past 24 hours, 931 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

11 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took the lives of 925 Kyiv citizens.

The number of newly infected includes 497 women (18-88 years old), 367 men (18-85), 34 girls (1-17), and 33 boys (1-17).

36 medics are among those who got infected over the last 24 hours.

83 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.

Most of the new cases were observed in Desnyansky (164), Podilsky (145) districts, and 133 cases - in Obolonsky.

As we reported earlier, 11,057 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in Ukraine over the past 24 hours, which is a new anti-record for daily incidence.

500,865 cases of Covid-19 have been diagnosed since the beginning of the pandemic: 227,694 people managed to recover (+6,235 per day) and 9,145 people (+198) died from complications caused by the disease.

It is noted that most of the cases were registered in Kyiv - 931, Zaporizhzhia region - 799, Kyiv region - 700, Odesa region - 663, and Poltava region - 624.
