Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 9,176 new cases of Covid-19, including 494 children and 313 healthcare workers. Coronavirus_Info Telegram channel reports it.

2,969 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 156 patients deceased, and 7,563 recovered. 41,489 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (1,125), Kyiv (740), Dnipropetrovsk (709), Odesa (1,357), Zaporizhzhia (807) regions. 

885,039 people have got sick since the pandemic began in Ukraine, 494,001 recovered.

As we reported earlier, the COVAX mechanism has officially approved Ukraine's request for a vaccine against coronavirus infection.

"Now, in addition to the planned purchases of the vaccine for budgetary funds, Ukraine will already receive more than 8 million doses of the vaccine free of charge. Syringes for injections as well. We continue to work to ensure that refrigeration equipment (+2 ... + 8) for vaccination points arrives in the shortest possible time," the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko said.
