Turkish firefighters have contained 88 forest fires out of 98. July 30, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic Bekir Pakdemirli said this on Twitter.
“From 28 to 31 July 2021, we have localized 88 of 98 forest fires. Efforts to combat 10 fires continue with great dedication,” Pakdemirli wrote.
According to the table shared by the minister, fires are currently continuing in the provinces of Adana, Antalya, Mersin, Mugla, and Osmaniye.

July 30, two fire planes of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine flew to Turkey to extinguish forest fires.
As reported before, on July 28 in Turkey in the province of Antalya, in the Manavgat region, a strong forest fire broke out. The fire was caused by a fire in a landfill in the Yenikei region. In Manavgat, some houses were damaged and animals were killed in a fire. Soon, the flames reached the tourist cities of Marmaris and Bodrum, in connection with which the evacuation of people from hotels began.
